b'Week three is focused on making sure the dog and own-ers can execute commands under increasingly more difficult situations. Correction intensity is going to vary situationally. Some dogs are fairly compliant. Light corrections regularly work for them. Dogs that fixate or overload regularly may need firmer corrections.Duringourlastweek, thedogisintroducedtothe e-collar. Due to the amount of prior work, we use the lowest settingpossibletocommunicatewhenthedoghasdone something wrong, and needs to adjust their behavior. Proper use of the e-collar is imperative for swift off-leash reliability. Dogs become equipment-smart, so most owners will need a way to correct their dog while they are off leash. Owners cannot physically hurt their dog with the e-collar. You cant electrocute your dog, but you can cause severe mental distress if its used incorrectly. The board and train program at Top Tier K9 allows us to use our experience to time rewards and corrections in order to get the dog to learn proper positioning. By the end of the program, dogs are 80-90% better than wherever they started. We offer free weekly follow-ups for all of our graduates.Dogs and owners are successful because we build foun-dations first. The program is perfect for dogs of all ages, sizes, and issues, so if you need help or just want a better relation-ship with your dog, please, dont be afraid to reach out.
